James C. Van Doren, MD
Dr. Van Doren is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his residency training at the University of Arizona. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and Fort Hays State University. Dr. Van Doren has been practicing psychiatry in Tucson since 2003. Currently Dr. Van Doren is the chief psychiatrist for KVC Wheatland Psychiatric Hospital in his home town of Hays, Kansas. Additionally Dr. Van Doren continues to oversee the operation of Tucson Central Psychiatry.

Teresa Sellars. MS, Psy-NP
Teresa Sellars graduated with honors from the University of Arizona receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing then went onto complete Masters of Science in Nursing with specialty training as an Advanced Practice Nurse. She holds a specialty certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her primary area of practice before joining Tucson Central Psychiatry has been in community mental health working primarily with the seriously and chronically mentally ill population.

Nancy Prunty, MS, Psy-NP
Nancy Prunty is a nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health. Nancy has more than 20 years experience in psychiatry. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, acute stress, PTSD, personality disorders, family dynamics, substance abuse and dual diagnosis. Nancy’s energetic personality and non-conventional methods are geared toward her commitment in helping people resolve stress, psychological interferences that complicate their lives. Nancy provides medication management as well as individual therapy.

Carol Hollander specializes in individual, marriage and family therapy, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, divorce, distressing emotional states, stress related issues, psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Carol views psychotherapy as a mode of treatment that offers each patient a way of working through difficult areas of their lives with the hope that this will have a liberating effect on their personality and their relationships.

Angela De Maio, LCSW and LISAC, is a behavioral health therapist who specializes in personal and professional growth and transformation, including women’s issue, parenting skills, overcoming depression and anxiety, grief, loss and addiction counseling. She firmly believes in guiding clients to develop coping strengths and mobilizing inner resources. She incorporates many different therapeutic modalities to bring about desired changes and offers supportive counseling and a nurturing environment. Her most significant contribution to the field of Behavioral Health has been as a facilitator of change, which allows clients to improve their overall mental health and emotional well-being.
